At Mr. Mopps', we listen to eclectic music from all over the world— not just because we love it, but we get bored with one kind of music all day. For years, people would ask what we are listening to and what "station" we were streaming. We weren't. It was just an iPod with a whole bunch of our favorite songs on it. So a while ago, we decided to make a public playlist of whatever we could find from our collection to share with our people. It's all over the place with music of the Latin, African, and Arab diasporas, American funk, soul, R&B, jazz, bluegrass, and blues, Turkish psych rock, 60s and 70s Bollywood and Thai hits, contemporary lo-fi beats, old Eastern Bloc rock/pop, 60s-70s Irani hits, calypso and reggae, and more. All kinds of funky and groovy stuff. It's a long one, and growing! We add a couple of hours of music to it a couple of times a month. We thought you might enjoy it as well! It's great cooking, cleaning, or just hanging out music. The Moppses listen to it at home all the time. Here's a link if you want to check it out! For best results, hit shuffle.
